Ceramic Emporium Studio is located in Pace inside Alyssa's Antique Depot on Chumuckla Highway. All activities are age appropriate and class sizes are restricted to facilitate personalized attention. Class size is 4-6 children.

Our priority is to provide a high quality, low cost art experience for local children. Cathie is a self taught artist whose work appeared in national magazines. As a child, she was able to concentrate on the art forms which held her interest, so her art appreciation was encouraged. Using that same approach, we offer a wide variety of crafts so you can select the ones which appeal to your child. Avoid week long camps where everyone does the same thing -whether they like it or not! You select the type and number of activities to fit your budget, with your child enjoying crafts starting at $5.95 !

Everyone enjoys our craft / ceramics room with the flowing Sandpiper Bird fountain. Tropical trees line the walls and kids love the tabletop Ponytail Palm. It's a wonderful, soothing environment for the art sessions!

~Variety Of Crafts~

The craft session titles will indicate the general type of activity, whether it is working with stamps, stickers, felt, wood, sand, shells, etc. The sessions use a combination of items and mediums; all are not listed in the titles. We do NOT discuss the specifics of the craft sessions- parents will enjoy the masterpieces when they see them!

~How To Enroll/ Policies~

A necessary evil is having firm rules- and these are FIRM. The fees are non-refundable and apply ONLY to the session for which you are enrolled. No shows do not receive a placement in another session. Much effort is spent preparing for sessions, whether it be a full class or only one child. When kids don't show up, they still pay for the time, effort, and expense of preparing the session for them. There are no studio or store credits issued for session participants who miss their time period.

Inclement weather cancellations will be on this website and it is the parents' responsibility to see if the session is cancelled. It will be rescheduled, no refunds are given. If you can't make that makeup session, you can apply your payment to another session. No studio credit is given.

The maximum number of children is strictly enforced. The amounts listed below do not include tax, which will be collected by Alyssa's at the time of payment. Your child is not enrolled until you go to Alyssa's and pay for the session(s). An email and phone number are required.

If there are no participants enrolled two days prior to the session, it MAY be cancelled. Always call to see if the sessions are a "go" if you want to enroll at the last minute. Watch the daily Twitters on our front page!

To facilitate siblings, we will be establishing "open" sessions with a wider range of ages. WE ARE WORKING ON OUR JULY SESSIONS BUT BE AWARE IT IS A MUCH LIGHTER SCHEDULE- MANY OF THESE ARE NOT OFFERED PAST JUNE!

~IMPORTANT!!!~

Being on time is courteous to both the instructor and other class participants. Children should arrive ten minutes prior to the scheduled time to receive their materials and instructions. Parents MUST BE PROMPT when picking up their children at the end of each session. Studio staff will relinquish all responsibility for the children at the end of the craft session. Alyssa's staff are not responsible for studio participants and children are NOT to be unsupervised within the store. Repeated tardiness will result in removal from future sessions without compensation.

Chewing gum, food, and drink are NOT allowed during the craft sessions. Children must be dressed appropriately, in a family friendly manner. Courteous and respectful behavior is both expected and required. Children must be able to function in a group setting as appropriate for their age group and follow directions.
